The "lost" thing seemed like a poor excuse for some reason! totally agree

A bit like the time Fern Britton's invitation to This Morning's birthday was 'lost'

Yeah exactly! Heard Denise Welch and JSP don’t see eye to eye... D was in studio, JSP not. Some link there.

JSP was on holiday. But I also doubt they persuaded her to film anything from where she was. She’s appeared with Denise recently. Their spat dates back to Denise’s drinking days.

Although Janet and McGiffen haven’t featured together

I suspect that's more because they fulfil similar roles on the panel.

Side note: CBS's THE TALK started its new season with a massive new set. Its huge airy and bright.

As discussed a few pages back they have been appearing on the show together recently and now seem to get on like a house on fire.

Can't have seen that discussed sorry! Oh well that's good news all round, except if it's just for TV! Lol!

I don't like that at all. It's such an odd use of the space. The audience area looks cramped and then you have all that space either side.

The View's present set is far superior.

Apparently according to Newscaststudio thats not the central audience. Its much larger than you think. Thats just a small area described as "the pit". After all its still a tv show, and they do other segments than just being sat at the table for the entire hour. So I imagine those open areas give them options to other things..

Quote:
The set includes three sets of audience risers — one that is partially used as a work area for crew — and a “pit” area that puts select audience members closer to the action, right up against the edge of the riser.

I completely forgot that the show’s theme tune was different then. Another note on the end. Don’t suppose anybody has that stuff? I have the mid 00s, 2011 and 2014 stuff.

I'm surprised they're not using those dates to prerecord episodes for a later date.

That's the second series which came from Studio A at MTV. Otherwise known as the main TV-am studio.

That set was very well travelled having been moved from TLS to MTV to Granada to Anglia, with a few licks of paint along the way.

It was a very good set design allowing different areas for different sections whilst making every area feel homely, and in smaller studio spaces they could reduce the side areas without it impacting on the main desk.

I much prefer this set to the current, but part of my dislike of the current is the blue & pink colouring.
