Noticed that the BBC's equestrian opening titles are still using the old BBC Sport graphics

And there was a brief breakdown right at the start of today's live coverage of the Burghley Horse Trials, but long enough for a slide and announcement

Probably the ratherly top secret BBC Reith team had seen it and thought, you think you can get way with that? I don’t think so.

CBS had to abruptly cut out their Jacksonville Jaguars - Kansas City Chiefs game as they lost power. Apparently there was an electrical fire near the production truck and they couldn’t get back on.

I should say during some games they can cut to other games towards the end of the current one if there are more exciting ones. However they have to continue airing the games in the teams home market.

Additionally they managed to get some graphics up that would normally be keyed over the field...

Don’t let anyone treat you like you’re a VO/SOT when you’re a PKG.

Few other problems in yesterdays NFL games. Redzone couldn't get a feed of Ravens @ Dolphins for most of the 1st Quarter. Couple of on screen glitches when they did get a working feed too.

Bills @ Jets seemed to lose commentary for a bit as well (at least on Redzone). Just stadium audio including during a touchdown.

Those graphics are generated out of New York, along with the 1st & 10 virtual lines.

So far, very little change to any NFL TV pres from NBC, Fox, or CBS. The only real thing to note is that NBC have replaced their cheesey opening number “Game On” sung by Carrie Underwood with their equally cheesey original opening song, “Waiting All Day for Sunday Night”, which was previously used from 2006-2015.

Apparently though, ESPN Monday Night Football is getting a new look tonight, with a new neon yellow colour scheme. Sounds garish, and the colour is being called, er, “venom”.
