That was a great era. Fond memories.

I also quite liked the funky titles that followed that look:

After that I started to outgrow the programme. I didn't really actively watch the 1997- era of Newsround, except that it aired before Neighbours, I think, so I sometimes caught a little bit.

I was always rather fond of that one's immediate successor. (EDIT: Beaten to it, whilst still typing my post!)

I was never a fan of the logo just saying "nr". The very first title sequence to end with such a logo at least began with the full word Newsround, but several subsequent title sequences didn't. As far as I'm concerned, the programme's name during those years should've been pronounced "Nur" because that's all that the logo sodding well said.

The last bulletin with the 2017 look has just gone out. Ricky Boleto mentioned the new look but unlike Friday afternoon's bulletin there was no preview or mention of the afternoon time change.

Jenny Lawrence headed the first new look bulletin. No reference to it though or the afternoon bulletin time.

I like it very nice and fresh and a very modern theme tune with a proper musical ending.

I’ve seen it on the actual news programme, there’s no headlines which it certainly needs after a well executed opening titles, then they can’t seem to time the music to the closing titles which just sort of appears, what James has come up with is fantastic, but it’s poorly executed on the programme itself Sad

For some reason these remind me of the ITV game show "Divided"!
