STV Breakdown during Nightscreen

I've just noticed STV went off the air during Nightscreen. Strangely, I'm enjoying it!

Over 3 hours later, we're still getting the breakdown caption.

EDIT: Normal service resumed with the production slate for Nightscreen, promos, ident, then onto Judge Rinder.

Or was it routine maintenance, with the implication for punters it was a breakdown?

If it was planned, you'd think they'd have been able to dust off the tape of aerial shots of Scotland, last regularly seen in segments in The Nightshift .

They should have done that, the fault graph gets boring after a while.
