The Six Nations Board have decided the tournament must remain on free to air TV in order to maximise exposure, citing the comparative viewing figures and impact on the public of the Womens Football World Cup versus the Cricket Workd Cup as justification.

Sky F1 & Channel 4 had a unexpected joint interview with Mo Farah on the track at Silverstone today.

That will keep the execs at both companies happy in fulfilling the contract's remit. Very Happy

David Coulthard has got another job soon. He is going to become president of The British Racing Drivers Club at Silverstone.

As soon as Eddie Jordan leaked the information to Steve Jones. Coulthard said that it will enhance his role as F1 analyst on Channel 4.

And with the 5 year extension being signed & sealed at Silverstone this week. This is great news for Coulthard. Well done to him.

So the rights for streaming on betting sites, which presumably IMG will sell on as AFAIK they're not in that market themselves.

"Betting rights" though begs the question whether we'll ever get to a point where leagues and events literally do sell the rights to bet to betting companies meaning you'd have to be with a specific bookie to bet on a specific event.

Strangely aligned score on the graphics for the Womens Under 19 European championship (in Scotland) on both the BBC iPlayer and World Feed. The score also disappeared on Scotland match only to come back with no clock.

BeIN added their scoreboard with a clock on the Scotland match over the host broadcaster (BBC) one.

Does look very odd indeed. Is it being produced directly by the BBC or by a 'broadcast partner' of BBC Sport?

It’ll be a broadcast partner of UEFA with the BBC getting the rights free, most likely.
