BBC regional news - Now with added Reith

Reith seems to be making an appearance in title sequence stills on the BBC English regional news magazine programme pages...

So far:

My local news have updated their title page on their website. Not sure about other regions.

London having an extra BBC logo than the others.

There are a couple which have not changed yet. Newsline, Wales Today, and Reporting Scotland - have also not changed.



Does anyone know if these are representative of the new titles - or just a promotional image template for use online and for stand up displays?

Similar to the Local Radio and current promo images?

And a few regions have an identity crisis at the moment. South East Today is using Southampton’s version, Look North Newcastle is using North West Today...

Gill Sans title and Reith everywhere else. That's what you call inconsistency.

I can imagine when these rules are broken, then there will be at least 3 pages of discussion about it on here. But rarely do the BBC stick to their own presentation rules.

Titles: yep, good, some nice new footage, not a massive change but a bit cleaner

Music: wow, much better (imho)
