ITV 2019 idents and presentation - ITV Creates

Although it wasn't strictly rainbow branding - it was ITV Pride branding which recognises ITV's LGBT+ employees (including ITV News employees).

Isn't that the same quote from the Trev McDonald ad?

It might be 13 years ago but remember when BBC News 24 decided to festoon the countdown during the 2006 World Cup with English flags? Now that was wrong, partial and insensitive.

Yeah, it's meant to refer to diversity in general. Not just LGBT, but also ethnic minorities... like Trevor McDonald.

And don't get me started on this:

It's indeed not Strictly Rainbow branding, that's the wrong channel and there are no dancers or glitterballs to be seen.

As it is, it's clearly a rainbow.

It's ITV Pride branding which is obviously based on a rainbow. But neither should cause an eyebrow to be raised as it appears to have done with some members of this forum.

On the subject of Pride, MTV OMG has been rebranded as MTV Pride.

Nope, not overly impressed with the initial look of this week's ident:

"I'm an artist" - no way!

Yet again, another addition that of which suffers from the fact that so much more could've been done with it. It is an interesting idea and there has clearly been more effort put into this ident as oppose to last week, but I still feel as though it is rather lacklustre.

I think this is the best yet. Better than last week's!
