Not necessarily. Depends where other on screen elements are located.

Think this would look quite good...

I could imagine that would be slightly jarring if the clock moved alongside it.

I'd love to see the News channel do something like that pres-wise when they use A.

And now on TV Forum, another in our series #SneakyReith... tonight, we have a contribution from the BBC News as Ten.

That is taken from the BBC News digi video templates, which have had Reith for a number of months now.

I'm guessing the pack must have been edited on location in Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere Pro - so wouldn't have needed anyone at NBH to add graphics in.

I hope the new graphics are more like the Nine or at least that style used on the flagship bulletins and Newsnight.
