Its also interesting to note that Miami is one of the few US tv markets (if not the only) that has local stations with correspondences in other countries. This is highly unusual. But makes sense for the market.

Video compilation of DR's parliamentary election coverage. Includes (from around 6.05) a clip of the party leader "debate" that takes place on election night itself - jointly hosted by DR and TV 2 (one presenter each) on the floor of the parliamentary chamber. The post-election debate takes place once all the results are counted -- this year, it got underway around 1am.
And now, YouTube user TelevisionIdents follows up with TV 2's election coverage. First clip is the election coverage ad TV 2 was running, the second is a brief intro to the final party leader debate, the third is from the head-to-head debate between the two leading candidates for PM (hosted at a special day-long election festival, where TV 2 opened up its headquarters to the public). After that (from about 1.33), election night coverage, and some clips from the morning/day after.
Lovely graphics from Denmark's DR tonight for the general election. Something that looks very contemporary and different.

France 2 is celebrating 70 years of French television news tonight. For those who can receive the channel (I can't anymore), you might want to tune it at 9:05 p.m. CET for a special program devoted to an anniversary, followed by a documentary about TV news in France at 11:05 p.m. CET.

As far as I know, you can watch news programming and some special events live on France 2 outside France live on France.tv. You could also use a VPN set to France and watch on France.tv to be sure or Zattoo or Teleboy with a VPN set to Switzerland. Teleboy has a free 720p stream.

By the way, I am correct to assume there's no way (legal or otherwise) to watch France 2 online outside France? Their newscasts are available on their site, but everything else, including original programming, appears to be geoblocked.

Well done. Another tip is you can download Capvty and by using your VPN you can record the shows live (in 1024x576 resolution) live or from France.tv catch-up. I'd recommend recording from catch-up as the live streams from France Télévisions are audio description as default. https://captvty.fr/

And we now have a YouTube video of the intro (already posted in the "odd choices" thread):
When did Swiss RSI's Telegiornale get a new intro?
No YouTube video of it yet so here is a link to the latest edition on the broadcaster's website:

Moving tables! (hello France 2)
