The worst of the latest allegations appeared to be a drug user who had quit was put back on drugs to make good tv.
Incidentally the 'protest' outside Media City was staged by a family from Liverpool who were infamous for their appearances on the show and also featured on other 'misery porn' docs.

I do hope they just happened to be there the day Dispatches were there filming, rather than asking them to go and stand there to protest,

They were, er, interesting! The argument that 'you shouldn't be able to decide what's on TV' was an odd and very illogical one.
Incidently I remember a friend who works at Media City telling me that the fibreglass model of Upsey Daisy outside the studios always got a bit of a soaking after a Jeremy Kyle evening record. It was a favourite place for the audience to relieve themselves

It's a weird choice again but it'll be some filler until they find something new to try.
I think a game show is probably best but something like Wheel of Fortune or Supermarket Sweep would be perfect popcorn for the eyes.

But also on at 3pm? Which is the same Real Deal. Surely it’d make sense to have one at 9.25 and one at 3!
Tenable gets the 9.25 slot from 10th June.

Tenable also flopping in the Kyle slot, 398k with a 9.9% share yesterday. A third of what Kyle was getting; hopefully they’ll have something new in the slot from September.
I still think an extra hour of GMB would best solve the problem, but maybe the arrangements at TVC just wouldn’t make it possible.

At the end of the day, these shows are made for a complete different audience. The figures are bound to be affected. Then again it'd be interesting to see how well The Chase would fair in that slot, though I daren't even consider having even more of that in the schedule.
