Really? The one at 10:30 teasing ahead to the News at 11 and The Papers was voiced by a male (sounded like the same person who voiced the Afternoon Live promo).

It's still the same mix of Jane and whoever that guy is as it has been for a few months. The original 10:30 one was done when Newsnight still aired at 11:15 so can no longer be used so a new one was recorded by that guy but the other original Jane ones which are still accurate have continued to be used.

I doubt they'll be refreshed until the revamp happens.
Would be good to see them embedding what's coming up into the countdown like they did many years ago.

Sadly Rory Cellan Jones has been diagnosed with Parkinsons Disease
A couple of people have noticed my hand shaking in my live 5G broadcast today. So seems a good time to reveal that I’ve recently been diagnosed with Parkinson’s. I’m getting good treatment and the symptoms are mild right now - so I’m carrying on as normal. Onwards and upwards!

Think he's the same guy who voiced the promo for The Papers too (which will need updating now Theresa May is standing down).

And he is the voiceover of 'Too Good To Eat' a violently cheap schedule filler that Good Food are airing again, despite it being in 4:3 mode and over 18 years old.

But this Saturday “someone” with an East Midlands accent will be presenting the BBC1 teatime and evening bulletins...

Hopefully the beginning of the end of a separate presenter for BBC1 bulletins. It's pretty hard to argue that the news channel presenter isn't senior enough when the scheduled news channel presenter is the person reading the BBC1 bulletin.

I don't think the argument is that NC presenters aren't senior enough, it's that a different team produces the bulletins and the presenter is part of that team, (re)writes the script etc. They can't do that if they are on the air on the News Channel.
