Peston seems fairly confident that May will announce her resignation timetable tomorrow, and will actually resign on the 10th June.

Both Peston and Kuenssberg were confident she would resign yesterday, and I'm sure they've both hinted to it on more on one occassion over the last few months as well.

One day they'll be right.

That's a ridiculous definition of "close of the poll".

Which will be implemented first, Reith across BBC TV News or the PM resigning and a successor appointed? That's the big question. Laughing

Bubbles is more likely to win the game of noughts & crosses on Test Card W than any of the above.

All we need now is the microphone stand (the one used for serious announcements and statements) outside Downing Street and it's game on!

Anticipated that May will announce leadership contest to start 10th June 2019 after Humpty Trumpty’s state visit is over and done with.

Being far from tv today, hope you guys keep us posted!

I presume the BBC News special will air across all outlets, including World.

Just a reminder folks to try and keep discussion to presentation related matters. For the politics aspect there's always Metropol and threads such as https://www.metropol247.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=7724.
