In this universe Granada continued to broadcast to the whole of Northern England after 1968 but with the proviso that they create two sub regions, Northwest and Yorkshire. This video shows the "Granada Presents" logos for both regions.
1. The idents are aligned differently to show the difference between the two regions
2. I did upload the video with music but for some reason it didn't render.
I'm lost. Why would such a ridiculous name, "Granada in Yorkshire" even come up? Even if a need for sub regions had come up it surely would have remained Granada on screen across the entire area and "Yorkshire" would have been an internal name?
Please don't put text that explains the context in a video, if it matters that much put it in the description (that's what its there for!) or as a pinned comment, not in the video itself, you could have knocked 42 seconds off that video and saved everybody a load of bandwidth.
I'm not going to repeat what's already been said by other posters, as AxG has already stated the two main issues, primarily the alignment is out on both of them (I'd suggest align them both in the same way because little things like that make all the difference) and I think you might have done better with static images and a link to MP3 files for the music, all of which you could have loaded onto Metropol's Upload service - there was no real need here to have a 150 second video for the sake of two images, a bit of audio and 42 seconds of context setting when you could have done all that in the first post here.
I'm still lost, I'm not entirely sure why you have a big arrow pointing to a badly cropped version of the UK mainland, I think people know where Yorkshire is by now in all honesty...
