Now here's an interesting one from the BBC TWO during the learning zone where were unable to return to the programme and very odd but they decide to tell the people recording onto there VCR's that it will be shown.

And here's a forum from this website that is related to this breakdown

That's TV and Local Television Ltd are the Carlton and Granada of local tv

Bit of a background story to this one, I remember watching this when I was about nine years old.

It was near Christmas of 2009 on a Tuesday and CBBC was having problems throughout the afternoon, near the end of CBBC's programming for the day, right at the end of Newsround to be exact, during a trailer for the new Tracy Beaker Returns series that was to air in the new year, the screen went black with the trail playing in audio only.

Eventually, CBBC finally kicked the bucket and ended early to go straight to BBC1's breakdown caption.

Music was played with the announcer apologising for a few minutes before going to the Weakest Link.

Fourm link from this particular breakdown is here: https://tvforum.uk/tvhome/bbc-one-bbc-two-fallen-30281/

Makes sense, you don't want to miss out on one part of a course, all the episodes have to go out

I would have thought that that slot for the repeat was pre-planned for such an eventuality with the slide and announcement ready to go. I don't think they were phoning up the schedulers at 2am

I may be mis-remembering this, but I'm sure TWL suffered a problem too (or maybe it was another airing around the same time and they became one in my head)

I don't remember that for some reason, I was probably doing something else at the time.
