Aren’t new Blue Peter presenters usually (and supposed to be) relative unknowns, so I don’t know how you can guess.

Generally yes, but recently Barney Harwood was already well known and in the 80s and 90s they had presenters who were know already

Janet Ellis, Anthea Turner and Mark Curry were known as children's presenters, Konnie Huq to a lesser extent. Sarah Green, Yvette Fielding and Tina Heath had acted in other children's programmes before Blue Peter

That new theme music is atrocious

It’s nice it is for kids they’ve will like it.

A shame they've moved away from linking the theme to the BBC News brand (and so aren't using David Lowe for this), but nice that they've retained the same tune for the closing titles, which IIRC stems from Newsround in the 80s and was reintroduced in 2010 and has since survived some quite drastic changes in theme tune!

I love the nod to the 70s/80s closing sting has survived another revamp. Lovely little nod to the parents or (let’s face it) grandparents.

I was a bit surprised this episode of Ouch has even been broadcast, rather brave, but praise for such content, Well done.

After digging around, the music you hear was composed by the same people that did the recent Challenge TV idents (3 gameshow sphere).
