While you're entitled to your opinion, it does beg the question of if you thought the shows were "stupid and tommyrot", why did you sit through them and then proceed to post commentary on TV Forum through the years?
That's nice to know.
I know I'm going to regret this but dare I ask what these "better things" are?

I've no intention of watching any of that lot tonight. Each odd-numbered year from 2003 to 2015 I watched it off-air until late (usually midnight) and the rest on video next day. Looking back, I don't know how I tolerated sitting through them, because each time I thought the shows were predominantly a load of utter stupidity and tommyrot.

Many of the sketches over the years have been terrible ... In 2017, I assumed the Red Nose Day 2017 TV Show would be just as bad, and therefore didn't watch any part of it. For the same reason, I (almost certainly) won't watch tonight's Red Nose Day TV Show;
That's nice to know.

I've got better things to do than sit through several hours of what I guess will be more utter garbage like 2013 and 2015.

Well those years (2003 to 2015) I wanted to watch them, just like Children in Need in November. Whilst watching those shows in the later years (2009 to 2015), I was able to express my opinions on the various RND sketches etc. here on TV Forum (something I couldn't do in 2003 or 2005).

B1 and B2 technically, since he gets bored when B7 takes over RND.
Will Tumble be watching B1 or something else tonight?

B8? I didn't know Parliament were making a contribution to Comic Relief this year.
