BBC Scotland - the launch

Regarding "The Nine" news titles they are terrible. It'd be great if they showed that photo of Theresa May eating chips though just to make it a bit funnier.

Mr. Dom and Mr. George sound like the (almost) perfect duo for Scottish announcing.

The titles would look a lot better with scenes of Scotland, but they'd also probably be a lot less distinctive.

That font and the little "the" above a word starting with N remind me of something ....

The set looks a little Channel 4 news. That sort of purple colour

As mentioned in the Newsroom thread - a different set of faces for tonight's broadcast.

What a strange concept for a news programme. It falls into the same category as Oneness - random people looking into a camera.

It's far better executed than Oneness.

I would guess the agenda from the show is to bring real people's stories and experiences and to present the big stories from a personal perspective.

Quite a crash out of the Athletics just before 1900, to run a few trailers before the Sportscene Scottish Championship match coverage.

Has anyone seen the sixth ident?

Surprised that they didn't opt out to show a different programme at 6:30pm instead of the first 30 minutes of the athletics, or just started Sportscene half an hour earlier.
