Hold on! Haven't we been here before with BBC 2W in Wales? That didn't last too long did it.

That was always going to be temporary because of DSO.

Radio Shetland and Radio Orkney are still just about around too with opt outs from Radio Scotland.

Yes, and I think the Borders region still gets opt out radio bulletins. Foyle seems to be a fuller service though, and has its own slot on Freeview

The idents look nice, if simple. It is odd how they can create something so pretty and yet BBC ONE looks a god-awful mess in comparison.

Get that subtitles tag off the screen or get it into the corner. 4:3 safe graphics in 2019? Come on. At least they have it in Reith unlike BBC TWO. Once again, consistency is not the BBC's strong point.

Reconsider the end-boards. The text and garish colours are ruining what is by and large a nice on sccrceen identity. A few simple tweaks could make a massive improvement.

I'm taking a punt and guessing these are the cobblestones of Rose St, Edinburgh?

Alas it doesn't match up with the angle of the brickwork unless its down one of the side streets of Rose street which i doubt, I dont think its Royal mile as its not wide enough.

Was looking on Google Street View and was thinking one of the side streets North or South.

Different circumstances though. As was discussed in the closed thread, thay replaced BBC Two digital completely, forcing viewers back to analogue for network programmes. This wasn't ideal and became less so when they tried to switch off analogue in one part of Wales

Yes, and I think the Borders region still gets opt out radio bulletins.

There are several news bulletin opt outs from Selkirk, Dumfries, Aberdeen, Inverness as well as the longer programmes for the Orkneys and Shetlands

Straight into BBC Scotland continuity at 1213, Politics Live next advisory, two trailers, further continuity then to Politics Live.

All announcers have been told to name check at start of their shift. As Jennie did last night.
KELGE, jonO and London Lite gave kudos

So the BBC2 simulcasts still have BBC Scotland continuity?
