If the channels are split 6 to BBC and 4 to Discovery, would it be:
BBC (Gold, Dave, Drama, W, Alibi & Really)
Discovery (Good Food, Eden, Yesterday & Home)
Are Discovery just after the programmes and the EPG slots? Otherwise this doesn't really make sense, as they already operate similar channels in the UK (Food Network, Animal Planet, Discovery History, Discovery Home & Health).
Quest are currently advertising for James May The Reassembler. It will premiere on Quest next Tuesday; the 4th of December. As I recall that series was shown last year on BBC Four. One of the episodes involved building a Flying Scotsman train kit with coaches and track.
Understand that an announcement is likely this month. Discussions surrounding international licencing of BBC Natural History (NHU) content including Attenborough works seemingly having been delayed and detailed. Reports (Telegraph and FT - Paywalled) suggesting that as part of the BBC Consideration for their share, a multi year BBC NHU international streaming sub-licence with Discovery has been agreed.
