Re: World Rally Championship Highlights. Is Channel 5 continuing to broadcast the FTA rights for the UK? I was looking up the Channel 5 website for a while & I cannot find any information on these rights so far. Have they been changed recently?
I saw a brief news report on RTÉ News tonight about the results of Rally Monte Carlo which took place this weekend.
Sky Sports News is airing for 3 hours on Thursday from 2-5 p.m. ET for the transfer week deadline on NBCSN, followed by 3 hours of NBCSN produced programming. Back before NBC had PL rights Fox Sports Soccer aired it.
Well Chelsea v Manchester United in the FACR5 will be the BBC's first choice .... We'll see how the rest play out. With SEVEN fixtures in R4, might we possibly see all EIGHT in R5?

With the new American owners of Sky - not a surprise!
Of course 2-5pm ET is 7-10pm UK time, and on transfer deadline day on Thursday, 7-10pm is when most of the last minute big money panic deals are done - so it's a good timeslot for NBCSN to choose.
Get ready for the Jim White shoutathon Thursday, America!
You only used to have to avoid football on one channel to avoid Ian Wright but now he seems to be on every match broadcast, regardless of the channel.
He’s near enough freelance, he’s a regular on Match of the Day, he has been on ITV’s team at the last two World Cup’s, he’s been a regular on Sky Sports including The Debate, and I’m fairly certain he’s been a pundit on BT Sport too.
More bad news for motorsport fans in the UK. There will be no FTA coverage available for the WRC on Channel 5 anymore. The extension to their FTA deal with the WRC has not materialized. It will only be available on BT Sport, WRC+, Red Bull TV & Youtube.
Listings suggesting that at least two of the four days of BT Sport's Fed Cup coverage from Bath next week will be in 4K UHD.
They also appear to be showing world group ties at the weekend, which would be a first.

Bar The Debate he's rarely on Sky and he hasn't been on BT for 18 months or so (meaning instead it's been the likes of Keown and Adams).
I'd say actually the likes of Sutton and Ince are much more ubiqutious these days - and sadly are pretty dreadful.
Middlesbrough's trip to League Two Newport County on Tuesday 5 February (7.45pm kick-off) on BT Sport 1.
West Brom v Brighton on BBC One on Wednesday 6 February (8.05pm kick-off).
