Interesting that they include a credit for BBC Studioworks - if it's TC2 which is on long term hire to ITV, and they are subhiring it from ITV you might have thought they would be mentioned too/instead.

So they’re doing it to shout about it rather than being contractual.

It's very unlikely to be contractual. Even the BBC Studioworks credit is unlikely to be a contractual requirement.

"Television Centre, White City" may get an additional credit if the people running the wider site have been particularly helpful - say with exterior items, site security, co-operating with wider site-related stuff etc.

Any on-screen mentions of it, or exterior shots, are purely there from an editorial point of view, to give the show a sense of place etc. (And arguably trading on the heritage of the site as 'the home of British TV')

"Television Centre, White City or just Television Centre if too long"

A shame TVC is a shadow of its former self now anyway.

Yes, but let is just be thankful we have three studios remaining. Compared to ITV's plan in leaving none of their London Studios around.

As well as the fact it's actually still standing (or some of it at least), unlike many other former TV studios. If it wasn't listed, it could have been a very different story.

Wait didn't they say they were going to demolish TVC for new houses?

No, Television Centre circular central complex and Studio TC1 is listed, so they had to be kept. The "doughnut" section was kept and refurbished into apartments with extensions using the space where TC4 to TC8 used to be. There were never plans to demolish the whole site and rebuild it into apartments or houses.

When did All4 rebrand? Not sure what I think of the new look!

Looks like just today! Not at home but someone has uploaded the new logo.

Whether it’s conicidental but I’ve noticed on Channel 4’s endcaps (if you could call them that) they’ve stopped using what it now the old All4 logo, they just use the main flat 2D Channel 4 logo instead.

They’ve been like that for a while now, the endboard style guide was updated a while back. (Doesn’t stop a couple of the current shows still using the old All 4 logo though)

What exactly does this new logo represent? How long before they tack 'All' back to the logo?
