Seems that Sony and DSG have licensed from BBC Earth the Blue Planet 2 UHD series which is on offer via an App on various Sony Smartphones and Bravia receivers purchased up to the end of February. The content being available until the end of September (or October, there's some confusion around). This seems a little strange. I hope that BBC Studios and the retailer and manufacturer agreed this on full commercial terms. It is a shame that this seems to pseudo-paywall BBC Content for the benefit of a retailer and manufacturer that's not currently available for general use.

It was DSGi from 2005-2010 - the merged Dixons Retail and Carphone Warehouse Group has always been Dixons Carphone.

For heavens sake. Is it really too much to ask for you to spell things out? It may save you 0.2 seconds but I often have to spend more than a couple of moments decoding your posts, as I'm sure others do.

Right .... The company parent name now is Dixons Carphone. However the name of the trading company is still known as

DSG Retail Limited, doing business as Currys, retails kitchen appliances, televisions and entertainment products, cameras, audio products, computing products, personal computer accessories, phones, smart watches and fitness products, drones, smart toys and gadgets, and other small appliances. It also serves customers via online. The company was incorporated in 1952 and is based in London, United Kingdom with stores in Colchester, Clacton, Ipswich, Chelmsford, Southend-On-Sea, Bury St Edmunds, Basildon, Leicester, and Harlow, United Kingdom. DSG Retail Limited operates as a subsidiary of Dixons Carphone plc.
(Bloomberg - https://www.bloomberg.com/research/stocks/private/snapshot.asp?privcapId=22500621 )

Companies House Registration - https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/00504877

DSG Retail therefore as the trading subsidiary is indeed correctly used here.
No more of this nonsense please without fact checking.

Nope, Currys is DSG Retail Ltd. Carphone Warehouse is The Carphone Warehouse Ltd. The parent company is Dixons Carphone.

Coincidentally, I live near to where 'Dixons Carphone' is based and that name came about when Dixons merged with Carphone Warehouse.

But as they are based in The Carphone Warehouse HQ, this is still there....

Indeed. Dixons Carphone Holdings Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Dixons Carphone plc, and is the holding company for Dixons Retail Group Limited and Carphone Warehouse Europe Limited. Carphone Warehouse Europe Limited has the subsidiaries The Carphone Warehouse Limited and The Carphone Warehouse UK Limited. However, The Carphone Warehouse (Digital) Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Dixons Carphone plc directly. Dixons Retail Group Limited is the parent company for DSG International Holdings Limited and DSG Holdings (UK) Limited. DSG International Holdings Limited is the parent company of DSG International Retail Properties Limited and DSG Retail Limited.

It's therefore simple for anyone to see that to just say DSG is rather vague, and doesn't encompass the Carphone Warehouse retail operations. JAS84 may be a victim of the Hull milk cartel, but they're right to be confused at the usage of DSG.
