The channel has now adopted the recent brand refresh from the US channel, introduced there last year (January 2019)

Ok, they're a little more than the older animations - but they're along the same lines.

On those text idents at the very end of the page, I am pretty certain they're still using the old thinner 'CC'/copyright symbol style logo. It's been redesigned to appear thicker/bolder now.

(Also, your 2015 idents page is labeled '2105' Smile )

The logo does appear to be inconsistent in weight across the presentation on both CC and CCX.

(And thanks, the 2105 has been changed!)

I can't believe they're still using the same animations for idents albeit updated.

Just seen the space invaders ident in new yellow!

I have to say - why did they bother?

Well, it's an international brand refresh so they have look as identical as the American Comedy Central.

One of the issues I had with the previous Comedy Central branding was when they made the lɐɹʇuǝɔ text right side up, which would happen more than often in some idents. It doesn't work when the other C is the other way round, making it inconsistent. I'm glad they've just given up on the upside down text logo, as the UK side confused it more often than it should've.
