The regions have been posting on Twitter, what they do while they are waiting for the opt out and Piers has his rant.

The regions have never had so much attention in the Breakfast slot since Rachel McTavish raced down to GMTV for Eamons last programme.
Although it could be seen as being treated worse when their first opt was meant to be between 6 -
6:15 & in this case 30mins later.

Piers ranted for 30 minutes? Must be a record.

Good to see that they’ve placed one of the larger trees behind the divide. The shot looks better for it.

GMB just briefly fell off air, going to a black screen for about 10 seconds then a static ITV slide for a while before going to an ad break and then crashing straight back in, with Ben and Kate seemingly unaware anything went wrong.

Other than the logo, the studio looks quite good like that.


EDIT: I thought that backdrop reminded me of something.

Wouldn’t be a terrible look for ITV News bulletins.

So will we be able to see this?

How long before a tabloid picks up on this and runs a story of how Piers Morgan is taking over afternoons replacing The Chase
