As you can see from the transponder bitrate allocation, there's no bandwidth related excuse not to put BBC Two NI HD on there... http://digitalbitrate.com/dtv.php?liste=1&live=69&lang=en&mux=10847

Isn't BBC Scotland HD going on there too? That would prevent Two NI going on the transponder

Fairly sure it's going to be on a different transponder.

Yes, this has been confirmed from within the BBC that Scotland HD will go on the other transponder. Both have switched to 3/4, so arguably space for BBC Two NI HD and possibly a first BBC One HD English region.

I'm afraid I haven't (yet) had any experience with a Samsung DVB-S2 tuner!

BBC Two Wales HD is now testing on satellite, so if you want to capture BBC Two Wales versions of the idents in HD, now you can.

You can manually tune via Sky's other channels option, or non-Freesat mode using the following parameters:
Frequency: 10847
Polarisation: vertical
DVB-S2 8PSK
Symbol Rate 23000 (or 23 Mbaud)
FEC 3/4
Service ID: 6912 is BBC Two Wales HD.

How do you do this with Sky+? What option do you choose for Modulation Scheme and Standard?

Did anybody record the trailer just before The Mash Report on BBC2 tonight? It featured the underwater like BBC2 ident.
