4seven and 4Music look the best out of that lot. The rest look awkward. Dare I say it, I can see why they've done it.

The new CEO and Director of Programmes must think that the sub brands need closer alignment with the blocks.

Of of course, Ian Katz. If he isn't turning Newsnight into a dumbed down fest, he's now screwing up C4's sister channels brand identity.

I preferred how before they each had their own stylised take on the '4'. It was bold yet you still knew they were part of the Channel 4 family, they didn't need to all tie in with the main '4' motif.

This looks very uniform, generic and safe and so not very Channel 4. Hopefully its better on screen.

And I thought someone was taking the proverbial as a tie in for the 2 launch! Is this for real then?!
