I doubt it, the Mailbox is better described as a "shoebox." Not a lot of space there at all - I believe only a very small area has been reserved for aTV broadcast studio - and is a comedown on what was originally planned (massive glass window overlooking Birmingham with a generously sized studio)
Oh no, not more news on a sofa around a coffee table, how very......... CENTRAL News. Hardly encapsulating this so called energy and enthusiasm of the midlands. A couple of painted walls and a sofa, let's hope for some different titles as least, but I don't think it's going to be the radical look you've been hyping up.
But you fail to realise what this means SE. Kay will be presenting Midlands Breakfast from either the sofa or comfy chair. This is a new age in Midlands breakfast broadcasting. Something which even Central hasn't even attempted.

Oh, stuff Kay for once - this is my golden opportunity to have Nick Owen on the sofa!!

Honestly Ison, it's only a sofa, it's not Kay topless from a swinging trapeze is it ?
Kay is wonderful. Kay surrounds us, Kay connects us, Kay binds the universe together, Kay is the purveyor of quality travel information to the Midlands, via the help of her innovative 'at a glance on screen travel and weather service' - she makes sure the Midlands gets to work with a smile. Travel is a subject VERY close to Kay's heart, and she wants to make sure that we do not leave the house ill informed and that we know about the multiple pile-up and what frequency our BBC local radio station is on.
When Kay is with us, the sun always shines. There is nothing that can't be achieved. No mountain too high.
AND Kay has been with Midlands Today for 30 years, now THAT is devotion to the Midlands.
