MBC should have let the ordinary.people to create news intro sequences too, so they fall in line with the rest of identity packs.
The new look for South Korea's MBC is part of a new graphic identity created by the ordinary.people group in conjunction with MBC' in-house graphic department.

I don't know if ordinary.people was involved in the design of the new MBC Newsdesk and NEWS TODAY intros, but I think the two new intros have already incorporated a couple of elements from the new graphics, such as the slanting stripes with two colors rotating.

IIRC the news opens were produced in-house by MBC

I know, but the glossy 3D CGI intro based on flat and minimalist elements? I think that's a mismatch.

Hart van Nederland from SBS6 has undergone a visual update. Still using the theme from 2015.

I see they've started letting the presenters read the headlines, as opposed to having the announcer do it; I always thought that was rather unusual. All in all, I think it looks all right, if a little cold. Also, I notice that their website hasn't been updated with the new colour scheme yet.
