It's a temporary set; the studio it's in is normally used for a political discussion programme. Their usual news studio is currently being renovated, with the new studio launching in September.

That FRANCE'S GOT TALENT-style floor lighting is interesting for a newscast not sure it would work everywhere. But at least the French have imagination and willing to try something different to keep it fresh. Im looking at you BBC NEWS...
