Use your own thread for a start, and actually create something different - not the same mock, with differently sourced video
1. It is my own mock, I spent three hours looking for high quality drone shots of Manchester in the Morning. I also managed to find some lighter drone shots of MediaCityUK that I will use in rework two.
2. All I simply stated was that this mock is based upon 'BBC Big Breakfast' and I was complementing BerkshireJames' efforts in his mock.
3. I have created something entirely different, I learnt new software to create this - and yes, I have used 'differently sourced video' and this is
my own thread.
Negative people like you are the reason I stopped making mocks for a while. But as I said, feedback is welcomed. So, thank you.
It’s not ‘negative’, it’s criticism, and it’s still feedback. You can’t expect to upload something and just get Outstanding from everyone, you have to earn it. All your mock is basically some stock footage edited along side the new titles.
I understand that you’ve had to learn new software (which to me seemed unnecessary, since you could probably make the same mock in iMovie or Movie Maker), but you need to take more time in doing things and see if you can push it more, actually spend more time learning how to use that software since by my first impressions, it looks as if you could do a lot more if you spent more time actually exploring and playing with it before actually making a mock.
While yours and the other mock follow the same format, the other pushes it with integrating the wipe, I know you said you can’t do that, but think what else you could do. Even if you can’t add it to the video, make some stills and add the web of place names, or something.
It also doesn’t help when previously you’ve deleted your mocks at the first sign of criticism, the point is you take on board that criticism and use it to improve your mock, not to ignore it and abandon the whole thing. Users speak the truth here, you can’t expect us to just ignore what needs improving.
