Although they might slow down a recording of him saying ‘tart’ and dub it over every racist slur.

So Nick will be telling Ali how the fags on the market are 5p cheaper than at the TART's shop.

When the first episode was shown on Red Button for the 30th anniversary there was a diclaimer about racial language used. No mention of the topless poster though!

Don’t think they edited anything out however I fully expect them to do so in a lunchtime slot on Drama.

I remember one episode with - I think - Pat Butcher deriding what I think was her son (I'm not a massive 'Enders fan) for messing about "with a P**i girl." The interesting thing is the son then slapped Pat for calling his missus that - thus deriding her (albeit violently) for her racist outburst.

I don't remember a topless poster in the first episode of EE, but then my main experience of it was from a multi-gen VHS copy where it was probably made indistinct

I think it's up in the Vic behind the bar. It's a B&W page 3 I think so It isn't particularly prominent.

Ahh yes, that glass wall that split the rovers in two... until they got rid of it a few months into the show.

They used the same glass wall as The Rovers? Did they mention shipping it down from the North West?
