Babita Sharma is now in the air conditioned studio with Rico Hizon both presenting Newsday from Singapore. Maybe she can present with Kasia Madeira in London together now? It was said when she presented last alone from Singapore, especially when she got confused about where she was.

Is it just for the summit or are we getting a time check from Singapore at the start of the programme now when the presenter reads out the headlines?

Studio C as well as funny new studio lighting, the cameras did something funny during Business Briefing, and the starting vamp was too low, is the whole thing not been monitored by a human?

And the closing shot at :26 also had an immovable camera blocking the view of the presenter in the usual wide shot close.

Given World News has generally not been broadcast from Studio E, it’s only natural that the system doesn’t work as well if it’s been a rushed change done at the last minute. In general though, there has been a lot of problems with autocues, not just on World News broadcasts, but on other BBC News broadcasts.

Surprising and a shame they're using World titles.
It seems that the camera trails from C are able to be replicated on the E trails as camera shots seem to be identical to a normal World News edition from C

Agreed, it should be presented like it’s a News Channel broadcast, seeing a World News formatted broadcast in E looks so weird since it’s only ever NC that uses Studio E.

You can tell World News very rarely seems to break important stories in its generic 30 minute bulletins, unlike the News Channel. The whole 1am news broadcast has made no reference to the news breaking out of Glasgow tonight, in that the Mackintosh Building has caught fire again. Even tweeted by BBCBreaking, but not getting the Breaking treatment in the ticker or by the presenter. Maybe it’ll get mentioned in the NC opt out.
