Yes. Widespread nation public service strikes.
TV technicians out on the cobbles, but not it appears, journalists.

It seems to have affected France 3 more. They were in the regular studio. but using two fixed shots. No lower thirds. except the 12/13 National graphic and during the headlines, no bed.

LCI is repeating the TF1 13H bulletin at 14h/2pm using a slight pushback, so they can squeeze in the LCI lower thirds.

Pleasantly surprised that Franceinfo are broadcasting their 6pm bulletin from Jerusalem to cover the opening of the new US Embassy.

1980s DOG now appeared on TF1.

Surely if there was a DOG on TF1 in the 1980's, it would be in plain lettering form produced from a standard capgen machine - rather than that rather fancy accurate logo, but inaccurate for the era on screen channel identifier?

The original TF1 'French blinds' logo was so 'of the day' and awful. Thank god for Martin Labie Nairn and his design of the current logo and branding. Clear, simple, yet elegant.

Retro in-vision continuity on TF1 today.

For comparison, this is what the 1980s original looked like (starting at the 1:18 mark):

Looking at Logopedia, the dog is an adaptation of the logo used between 1987-1990.

There is more retro continuity tonight with a trail for tomorrow's film in the 87-90 style and a break bumper.

It's all part of a retro themed prime time show that was on this evening.

Continuity from this evening. including a trailer for a TMC show, the only other channel in the group which was on-air in the 80s.
