There seem to be the break flashers? Either way there trying to promo new show for this spring.

Here's Comedy Centrals promo for their version of Taskmaster:

Even though I sure the programme will be quite good, the promo is a bit of a different style and attitude to what we're used to, I assume they feel they need to explain that they're simple silly games played for fun. Something that we just 'get' here

Shouldn't that be in the comedy central thread? https://tvforum.uk/tvhome/comedy-central-42392/page-10

Yes, American version of a UKTV programme
It's a show based on a show on Dave, so not necessarily.

Clearly a piss take of something but it just seems very odd here where we have a culture of panel games (even though Alex Horne insists it's not a panel game)
That's a great promo - clearly an absolute piss take.

Interesting announcement at the start of a Fawlty Towers repeat on Gold tonight - "this episode contains strong outdated language that some viewers may find offensive". Its The Germans episode so presumably its because of the Major's comments after Basil comes home from the hospital. IIRC the BBC chopped a chunk of that discussion out for a BBC Two repeat and then got complained at for doing it.

They’ve done that before, and to be fair to Gold that’s probably the best way to go about it. I assume it’s the bit where the Major talks about going to Lords and drops an N and a W word?
