I must admit I like Ranvir from her early days at North West Tonight when I lived in Manchester to seeing her now across a full range of news programs she has the same sort of friendly, believable delivery that the lovely late Carole Barnes had.
The banter on fridays GMB about her being miserable all the time was quite funny and very much toungue in cheek a testament to her actual persona.

Isn’t Charlene White back from maternity soon? I must say I prefer Ranvir’s delivery and general presentation to Charlene White, who I find a bit “light-weight”.
