And here's a clip of RIAS TV, the predecessor of DW-TV. RIAS TV was the television service of the U.S.-backed Radio in the American Sector (RIAS), which was intended primarily for audiences in East Germany before the fall of the Berlin Wall:

Note the lack of a traditional headline sequence, and the titles are just a fancy camera pan. One of my favourite news looks, and the music is just sublime. The lead story is the funeral of popular comedian Guido Depraetere, who was also VTM's original controller.

Bulletins have a slight differentiation on the theme tune and simple yet stylish branding with the bulletins title popping up over a shot of their vast newsroom. I'm a fan!
