Here is the Q: Why did it take so long to update the presentation for the channel if no new idents were created? I dare say the all the pres could change colour very easily, it could have come in last december...

whats happened to CBS Drama its only on from 13pm until 11pm on Freeview??
What happens at the end of the idents now for CBS Drama? Do they fade into the blue smoke/liquid like the others (or does it appear over the top with the ident fading out to leave the smoke/liquid) or does it still end with the zoom out of a vault door closing with the CBS logo on it?

Talk about a mess... There just used the old Ident before going straight into the new ident...
That happened yesterday as well. The old style ident (6 posts up) was used with a generic warning announcement, directly followed by a clean playout of the blue smoke ident.
I have also added coverage of the new look to Presentation Archive and is available to view at the below link.
Just an aside (watching the CBS Drama presentation), I never knew the theme music to the first series of Dynasty was so lacking in oomph!
Also, I've noted there have been several adverts for 'New Drama on ITV' on the channel. Coincidence...?
I've spotted those ITV promos as well. I have to say it's even cheaper rebrand than 5prime/select/5 afterthought... There made the effort the bring pres into line put out a new schedule and its a mess.
I still wonder why Knotts landing or The Beverly Hillbillies haven't been shipped out

Not unusual, but there's something called counter scheduling. It's like a rebuttal to your rival channel that steps on your patch (by scheduling a similar/related promo). There's a competitor report that's published that gives broadcasters the heads up, before the rival campaign airs.
