An episode of the CITV programme 'Finders Keepers' as shown recently on Challenge.
This us actually the first episode of Series 6, notable for a distinct change in format, and the addition of Gladiators's Diane Youdale as host.
It really is quite dreadful compared to previous series. Firstly the garage set with two sets of raids which last far too long. Then the pit of oil with the reassuring warning of 'Don't try this at home' as kids retrieve such kid friendly items such as hammers and hacksaws.
Then the familiar room raids. Only they've messed with these as well by making both teams do it at the same time. And there's an awful split screen graphic which makes it hard to see anything going on, and also both teams are talking at the same time and it appears they've quietened the audio for this reason, so you truly have absolutely no idea what's going on.
Then the final super search which is the only round which hasn't actually been tampered with.
Oh wait... actually they have by just saying what items it is that they are looking for rather than giving out clues. Diane also defeats the purpose of the show by finding some of the items herself when neither kid has even come close to finding them. And watch one kid's fury when Diane loses one of the cards so she can't actually tell them what it is that they are looking for.
Overall it was terrible and rightly got axed after this series. One of many great TV shows which suffered from the itchy feet of producers and wanting to make a change for changes sake.
