No it's been scheduled for 7pm on ITV1 on Sunday 7th September, before the 7.30pm episode of Corrie.

Yes thats right - sorry I should have put the channel down.

I dont know why they are featuring Curly Watts as he only leaves the show 6 days before this special program airs - they hardly need to show clips of that as we wont have forgotton 6 days later surely - they would be better off filling the time used for his clips with someone else.

New Series - Coronation Street Secrets .

As much a part of life as afternoon tea, Coronation Street has gripped us for more than four decades. Digging into the shows archives is new series Coronation Street Secrets. Weekly themes include the most hated villains, naughty affairs, legendary barmaids, dramatic weddings and tearful deaths that made the street such a hit.

With the show’s stars offering personal insights, this promises to be much more than just a nostalgic footage-feast.

Coronation Street Secrets, starts Wednesday 24 September, 8pm only on http://winhist.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/mockresources/itv2new.jpg

So what do we all think then? Will it be any good? Sounds great to me.

Thanks. It would make sense if ITV2 repeated the episodes before the next is on ITV1. Unless you only ever watch it on ITV 2 it's a bit pointless because with most of them when they're on there's already been another on ITV1

News from Digital Spy:

Quote:
Coronation Street's Jack and Vera Duckworth are to get high on cannabis, according to The Sun today.

The comic storyline begins when they visit their allotment to find tearaway Maz holding a party near their greenhouse. In an effort to win them round, she gives them a bottle of beer and a slice of cake.

“They don’t realise it’s cannabis cake and help themselves to a large slice," a source told the newspaper. “They end up getting so wasted that they start to hallucinate that the vegetables are moving.”

Nevertheless an unwitting Vera asks for the recipe so she can make a cake of her own, readily accepting a bag of "special spices" from Maz.

In an episode following soon after, Vera serves up the cake at Emily's church fundraiser in Roy's Rolls. Emily, Rita, Norris and Roy will all tuck in, with what is promised to be "hilarious results."

"Spaced-out Emily confesses she once had the hots for a vicar and dreamed of him without his cassock'," the source added, "and Rita announces that she’s so in love with Norris she couldn’t live without him."

Wow - that sounds mad!

I read that in The Sun earlier on, that certainly promises to be a comical storyline! Plus, Jack + Vera are my favourite characters... Laughing Confused
