BT Sport - Launch of BT Sport Ultimate

So the WTA season has started but BT Sport are missing the start of play today in both Brisbane and Shenzhen. Brisbane's main court started at 3:00 but they aren't scheduled to start coverage on BT Sport 3 until 3:30. Shenzhen starts at 4:00 but BT Sport ESPN not joining until 5:00.

Schedule change on BT Sport 2 tonight as they cover WTA Auckland from 21:00 as they had a whole day of rain today.

BT Sport had some issues with the red button last night, having found a slot on BT Sport 2 for WTA over-run instead of BT Sport Extra 1, given it was Konta v Kerber - which they could not have timed better given the previous match ended with time to spare for the switch - when it came to the end of the allotted time on BT Sport 2 to give way to the Celtic match, the WTA was moved to BT Sport Extra 4... only those viewing on the app couldn't get to it as the link for WTA was pointing to BT Sport Extra 1 instead which was showing the downtime loop. The EPG on BT Sport 1 was also saying press red for the WTA when the red button wasn't active on that channel. Perhaps they should have stuck to the original schedule.

BT Sport moved the live squash from BTS3 to ESPN and Mainz v Schalke from ESPN to Extra 2 (red button) to put Konta v Vondrousova on BT Sport 3 tonight (while messing up the app streams again), without a tweet or on screen message in sight anyway, cue many an angry Bundesliga fan.

Don't see the logic in changing the schedule of two channels when one would have sufficed just by moving the squash to Extra 2.

Squash was on BT Sport 1 last night while tennis was on the red button, and there was a similar situation last year. I wondered if there was some sort of clause that it has to be on a main channel given it's the semi finals of a home tournament.

BT Sport Showcase lost the feed to BT Sport Score after 5pm. We were treated to ads and the promotional barker for around 10 mins.

Were any Champions League or Europa League games on Showcase this week?

Atlético Madrid v Lokomotiv Moscow on Thursday.

Sky Sports Extra HD on BTTV only gets it's second use tomorrow. The Rangers - Celtic SPFL match being shown on Main Event. So the PL game between Arsenal and Watford gets the additional service.
