Major problems on ITV News Central in the West Midlands tonight. No reports seem to be playing at the top of the programme and some of the graphics also seem to be glitching.
EDIT: The autocue is now all wrong and Bob and Sameena are having to frantically rely on the paper scripts. They're now reverting to the stories where they have lives with correspondents lined up.
EDIT 2: They've got through the lives and have had to skip their top story about the major weather conditions entirely. They now appear to be just about back to normal and have been able to play out further reports for other stories.
EDIT 3: They've finally returned to their top story 13 minutes later and have been able to play out the report third time lucky.

Would it really kill Midlands Today to have a real Christmas tree for once? Are white trees like that even still in fashion now?

A rare treat with Mr Michael Collie on tonight's NYE bulletin of Midlands Today. I would rather see him back on the main edition instead of the likes of Amy Cole.

Always good to see Michael Collie presenting - he is very professional. Shame he's not used more and not just popping up on bank holiday/festive bulletins. He would be great on the main editions, it must have been a few years since he was last on the 6.30 and that was probably double headed presentation.
I wonder who will replace Nick whenever he retires but then probably be stuck with Mary and Amy.

Yes, Michael Collie is very professional. I also like Nicola Beckford, Elizabeth Glinka and Giles Latcham. Ben Godfrey and David Gregory aren't cut out as newsreaders.
I remember the days of Sue Beardsmore, Diane Kemp and, of course the wonderful Kay Alexander.
I can never fathom why BBC East Midlands Today and other BBC and ITV are still double-headers?

I was hoping when the sofa returned, double headed presentation would and Nick would have someone to bounce off. I also like Sarah Bishop but haven't seen her read the news for some time.
Anyway Nick is popping up quite a bit on other programmes such as Celeb Antiques Road Trip recently and then appearing on Lorraine with Anne Diamond this morning and on Costa del Celebrity tonight.

I much prefer a double headed regional news magazine programme.

And they've crashed back on the air, with astons all over the place.
Wouldn't be amazed if Nick was in the DTL studio rather than the main one particularly as he mentioned a power cut.
It is the main studio
Apologies we're having some technical problems and have had to opt to the News Channel. We hope to be back on air soon.
