EPCR have indicated that they’ll try to play Saracens v Clermont tomorrow, but details not yet confirmed - presumably it’ll be live on BT.
Wouldn't exactly be difficult for them to schedule - guess the practicalities of producing the coverage would be the bigger issue.
Can anyone think of a recent event in similar circumstances where the event itself has managed to go ahead in bad weather but due to logisitical circumstances (i.e. production staff being unable to attend) they've not been able to broadcast it.

The final of the Aegon Classic in 2011, as the final was played on Monday due to rain, and host broadcaster Eurosport had already de-rigged to go to Eastbourne which at the time was a higher level event.
According to Martin Sadler, who is an editor of a rugby league magazine, it could be that Sky Sports are to take over from Premier Sports, as UK broadcaster of the NRL in 2018.
It would be a big blow for them, in that NRL is effectively one-third of the channels’s schedule (the NHL and GAA being most of the rest). Even that might be underplaying it, as the NRL when it’s on makes up a massive amount of the schedule, more than one third (it’s repeated ad infinum).
I guess the question post-NRL would be, are GAA clubs and the relatively small ice hockey base enough to keep Premier Sports in business?
For those of us on the union side of the rugby fold, would this indicate a lesser commitment towards Super Rugby and the Rugby Championship, which airs in the same time slot during the same season? Presumably there’s enough room in the Sky Sports town for both - in principle one would air on Action and one on Arena. It’s breakfast time, and not exactly awash with live Sport, most of the time.
in case anyone's wondering what Derek Rae did next...
UK commentary for NFL on Amazon Prime
Tense time in the #NFL season with all the concomitant pressure of the fight for playoff places. Saints-Falcons live worldwide on #AmazonPrime. Diagram shows how to get UK/English comms. @TommySmythESPN with me. pic.twitter.com/cTt4Wme87e
Another cold December day here in Germany. Will Dortmund continue to feel the chill or a new start under Peter Stöger tonight in Mainz? World feed commentary, 20:30 CET.
The bigger question is why Amazon are paying for a U.K. commentary for TNF? These are games airing at 1:30am late Thursday night/early Friday morning, and are on Sky Sports to boot. There is no other U.K. commentary being offered for any other NFL game including the Super Bowl.
Wonder if there are any figures as to (a) how many viewers are accessing the games via Amazon in the U.K. & Ireland and (b) how many would opt for the U.K. commentary instead of Jim Nantz & Tony Romo / Mike Tirico & Cris Collinsworth.
A radio related sports question coming up be aware...
Why were two BBC radio channels giving full commentary of the West Ham and Arsenal game last night? The same game was on BBC Radio London and Five Live.
Usually Radio London always carry Tottenham commentary.

Err people who live outside of London who would want to listen to the match? Surely same thing happens in other areas. Certainly I’ve known the same of Radio Manchester previously.
