Briefly watched to see a camera pan up to a presenter with her crew on the stadium roof for no real reason bar fill some time to talk to the commentators. They nearly missed a run because of it!

I quite enjoyed that. It's a new attraction at the ground where you can walk across the roof of some of the stands, they were dipping in and out as she made her way across. Test cricket commentary sometimes needs that sort of colour during the slower sessions, a bit like on TMS where they can spend lots of time discussing all sorts of minutiae between balls.

I think the coverage is very good, Sunset and Vine always Select the right commentators as well, effectively it’s the Channel4/5 team but live Smile

It’s a shame it’s taken 12 years to be given another chance for this team to have live coverage and sadly we have lost some commentating legends along the way Sad

A third price increase in 18 months coming in January with £2.50 per month increases for BT customers from £7.50 to £10 and BT via Sky going up £3 to £25.99.

I finally got my price change (surely you mean 'rise'?) notification in the post.

I currently get the BT Sport Lite pack (BT Sport 1 and Extra 1) for free on the app and online. It's going up to £3.50/month, and will include all the other channels, plus BoxNation, and in HD. It looks like this is half what they charge new broadband customers for exactly the same - I'm not sure what 'lite' refers to, other than the price.

This probably means an end to events which were promised 'free' being simulcast on X1 if there was already one on Sport 1 - most often Scottish football and Premiership rugby on Friday evenings. Until quite recently, they'd have to crew a gallery who would play some fillers instead of ad breaks, though I think they've started just simulcasting the Sport 2 or 3 (with its ad breaks) on X1 instead.

My price for BT Sport via BT TV hasn't increased at all actually, just the broadband and calls cost going up by £2.50, but I'd managed to get that knocked down by about £30 a month last month anyway.

I quite like the gap at the bottom as it feels less like a bit of picture is cut off at the bottom with the Sky approach. I would have liked to have seen something a bit more revolutionary though.

I think somehow stacking it and shrinking it as balls are played would be a better route to go down.

I do think it is information overload - only the score for the current innings and any target really needs to be on screen permanently. Batting and bowling figures can just appear in between plays. I do think stacking the information, as happened in the C4 days, was much clearer too.

I've only seen it at a glance, but I think BT's scorebar is just a reskinned version of what appears on the World Feed, and presumably Nine's own coverage. I just had a quick look for screengrabs, and couldn't see any, but did find this SVG article about how they're producing their coverage.

I just miss everything about the C4 days. Free to air, lovely bespoke gfx, innovative and friendly presentation, the music..... and I miss being 21 not 34!

The world feed is also showing extra I’ll see if I can produce some sort of screengrab next time round.

BT Sport Score have reporters at two FA Trophy fixtures today - Hartley Wintney FC (from Southern League Division One East) and Haringey Borough FC (in the Essex Senior League). They're both playing teams from the National League.

The bt scoreboard shows the overs but it dosent on the world feed, you get the nice dramatic music on the world feed which you don’t on BT. You also get nice 3d graphics on the world feed you don’t on BT.
