As well as Maxine and Chris reunited at 3.30pm, there's going to be special coverage at 5.30pm at the moment the time the channel launched.

Oh dear. Simon's currently battling a failing voice live on air which he's struggling to keep under control. Good job Maxine and Chris are on standby!

Was interesting to see the clip of 9/11 breaking on News 24. I don't think that clip's ever surfaced online. The only BBC coverage i've ever seen posted on Youtube was when BBC One crossed to News 24 after Neighbours as the events were very much underway.

I wonder if they'll have a reference (and hopefully special presentation) when they do the handover overnight.
