Seen new look syfi and so far no live action people idents happy days

So far there is only one space themed ident. Three stings: Red, Aqua and Purple are airing with a version using a soundtrack and another without. Overnight and this morning the stings have replaced the idents, a common feature on the NBC channels. It's sister channel Universal Channel has gone a step further and has ditched idents all together even in primetime.

The logo looks very industrial. On brand I suppose.

I don't see this as being an improvement on the previous idents at all. It seems like change for the sake of change, and not in a good way.

Also seems 80s influenced.
