INN: The Independent News (previously The Independent Network News), aired by independent (non-network-affiliated) TV stations in the U.S., 1986:

INN was produced by WPIX New York and actually used the main WPIX news set. They just covered the WPIX logo with the INN logo where needed

Staying in Spain : clean new intros for regional broadcasters' newscasts in Andalucia and in the Basque Country.

Here's a sneak preview of the new TeleMadrid TeleNoticias. Very clean and modern, with a definite influence from Denmark's TV Avisen...

Surely that music is an alternate mix of the TV Avisen stuff, it's just too similar to be a new composition, surely?

Ouch ouch ouch… this sounds like plagiarism!

I'm actually a bit more pained to find that the BBC News plagiarism has gone too far.

Ironically, I find that TV Avisen music far better than anything David Lowe has come up with for the BBC in recent years.

Telemadrid taking inspiration from TV Avisen and EITB talking inspiration from RTL.

And CSN taking inspiration from CBN On Air Rebrand...
