Yup, that UKTV Original bumper was shot in-house and the 'Original' font was specially commissioned.

Have they ditched the holding shape then?

It's still in use, but it's a more flatter version rather than 3D with white feathered shadows. Seen here:

Has the DOG on Yesterday been fixed yet? It's the only one not in the corner in the 16:9 safe area. Looks like an error and does look odd compared to the other channels. Also, some of the DOGs are the name in a circle, some are the name only and some are just their symbol. Seems a bit of a mish-mash.
