Correspondent Rebecca Barry is now being described as Health Correspondent when reporting on such stories for the first time and wasn't being described as such before her maternity leave.

Is Rachel Younger still Health Editor then or has she moved brief/left? Not seen too many Editions of ITV News in the last couple of weeks but can't remember really seeing Rachel since the election. I ask because slightly surprised if there are two specialists for health at ITV.

Pleased if Rebecca has been given her own portfolio, thought she was a good acquisition from 5 News and expected to her perhaps end up replacing Tim Ewart on Royal Duties or a position like she seemed to have moved in now in something like Education, Health, home affairs etc.

Rachel Younger led tonight's Evening News with an exclusive report into the state of conditions in the NHS. So, she still has a health brief.

Rebecca Barry will also be doing social affairs stories. She's technically Health and Social Affairs correspondent.

ITV are ahead of the Politicians with this one then. Health and Social Care; something which a former Shadow Health Secretary wanted to combine back in 2014.

Good news for Rebecca and ITV News in general.

Not great loss in my opinion. Always felt her delivery was a bit flat. I don't really see the need in having an Economics Editor when Joel Hills pretty much covers the role within his Business brief.

I rarely seen her and when she was on, as you say her delivery was flat and dull which didn't suit the bulletin. Probably the only duff hiring under Geoff Hill.

Never took to Noreena at all. Very disengaging and had a very strange style of reporting and in studio analysis. Quite happy she's gone but I do wish her luck in the USA.

Who? She left such a mark on ITV News by her charismatic personality and incisive journalism that I've no idea who she is or what she did Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

Big Al on a Sunday night. That's a rarity. They seemed to have stopped their period of having the main newscasters on at the weekend quite a while ago, apart from the big breaking news weekends recently.

It's the summer, James Mates is probably on holiday.

We haven't seen the likes of Steve Scott or Natasha Kaplinsky behind the desk for some time, so I'm guessing if James Mates is unavailable on Sunday nights al will be used more, now Charlene is going on maternity leave pretty soon and Ranvir Singh hasn't done a weekend bulletin for a while
