Well this is interesting,it being claimed bradly Walsh may be the new docotor assitaint...
Which has also gone down really well! Chibnall is just having a laugh isn't he? "What could possibly piss people off even more than a female Doctor?" "Bradley Walsh!"
It wouldn't really bother me.... At least he's not the Doctor. He's no Daniel Day Lewis but he's just about a decent enough actor to play second fiddle in Doctor Who. I can see him & Jodie having a Tennant/Tate vibe. If the show can survive John Barrowman it can survive Bradley Walsh. That's assuming it's true of course and it's not another Kris Marshall situation (poor Kris Marshall). Filming is a 9 month slog so presumably he'd have to give up a fair amount of his various ITV commitments.

He can burn off a series of wendensay night in.......in a week and the chase is happening right now just like blockbusters full series over the summer months.
Something that gives this rumor some weight is that Chibnall was a writer & exec producer on Law & Order UK series 1.
Though that might equally lend weight to the theory that someone has been back through Chibnall's credits and picked out an actor for the sake of having a story to write. Let's not forget how Kris Marshall was also but confirmed as the Doctor by the papers a few months ago.
That said, I think Jodie and Bradley could make a good team. He was good in
Law and Order
and was downright terrifying as a child-stealing entity in
The Sarah Jane Adventures
.
That draft the reason for 45min eps is to sell it around the world.
Now they can sell them around as 90 minutes episodes with an extra 15 minutes of ads. Anyway, worldwide sales aren't - or aren't meant to be - its raison d'etre. They've pushed the 45 minute limit more and more often in recent years and it always seems to make for a better episode.
According to YouTuber WhatTravisSays, BBC America shows Doctor Who episodes with 21 mins worth of ads, and bits of each episode edited out to accomodate the ads.
