That's not unusual (substitute Fox Sports for Sky NZ, Supersport, ESPN, and whoever host broadcasts the Sunwolves matches) for SuperRugby coverage which isn't on a Saturday morning.
Normally Saturday mornings do see a studio show go out with James Gemell, Sean Fitzpatrick and Michael Lynagh - obviously that probably won't go out for the duration of the Lions tour, with Fitzpatrick involved as a pundit on that.
Meanwhile ICC Trophy Cricket -
Sky Sports seem to be using the international feed augmented with video inserts, quite strange for a UK based tournament on Sky to not have their usual graphics set deployed.
Common for ICC tournaments who always have a singular feed these days.
There's three feeds but fibered rather then sent via sat uplink.
I think the original point was that there isn't the usual world feed plus about clean version that broadcasters can add graphics to in their own house style.
It's increasingly rare for these multi nation sporting events to allow broadcasters to use their own graphics.
Luckily the World Cup has been allow the BBC to do their own thing. But I'm not sure there is any desire from broadcasters to do it in any sport apart from football. In part due to the simplicity of football graphics compared to other sports.
Bit of shame we don't see it in the Six Nations for example.
Hearing a bit of a scramble in progress to try and nab FTA rights to the FIFA U20 World Cup final on Sunday, being covered for Pay audiences by Eurosport. England and Venezuela qualified earlier today.
Wouldn't surprise to see it pop up on Quest at least if not others.
Really hope Sky don't bid - and no-one else does either.
That'll teach that delusional loudgob chairman of Derby County a lesson in sticking with what you've got for the benefit of the game, and other clubs in other divisions with less money than his club.
There will be no multi-billion pound bidding war (as he thinks) and with illegal internet streaming, neither will going into a internet subscription model get a quarter of the money that a collective deal with Sky Sports would either.
What's to then stop ITV bidding, getting them domestic football back on their channels. Or even Channel 5 bidding, increasing their live sports output.
